Christmas Carolers, Strings Orchestras, Guitarists, Fiddlers, Flutes, HandBells and Cellos, not to mention cows, horses, goats, sheep, donkeys and turtles … all on the course cheering you on! You won’t find any run more unique than this one.

Christmas Bazaar with over 50 vendor booths… lots of sampling and Christmas gifts for people and their pets!
The 12k (12k = 7.5 miles) is US Track & Field Certified and starts and ends at Gilbert’s Freestone District Park with an out and back route along Western Powerline Trail. It’s a flat, scenic trail– mainly running on packed gravel past farms and behind the Riparian area. Look for horses, cows, goats, tortoises – it’s a bit of rural America in the big city! Plus 14 performing groups on this course.The majority of the run is on the Powerline trail with only 3 street crossings. NOTE: The police have closed these roads for the run, however slower runners or walkers need to be aware that Greenfield will reopen at 11:30 and Val Vista reopens at 11:45. You will have to stop for cars and take care crossing these streets.

Participants are invited to pre-register on-line or using the mail in form. Late registration is available on-site and at advance packet pickup. Registration is limited to 2500. Everyone will receive 12k’s of Christmas running socks and a 12k’s of Christmas Finisher Medal!
No “virtual bags” at this run! Come early and get your goodie bag.
Race numbers and registration packets will be available at early packet pickup on Thursday December 6 from 3 pm to 7 pm – Location San Tan Ford, 1429 E. Motorplex Loop, Gilbert 85297. (Yes, you can pick up packets for other runners. Just bring all their information, including sock size!) Packet pickup will be available the morning of the event between 7 and 9:30 am.
Bag Drop / Key Drop
Our friends at Pam Johnson State Farm are providing bag drop at their booth in the Christmas Bazaar (no valuables please). If all you want to do is leave your car keys for safekeeping, you can do that at the Information Booth right by the permanent restrooms.
The 12k will begin at 10:00. Pets are welcome, but dog-owners will be asked to line up in the back of the pack. Water Stations will be at 1.5/10.5k, 3/9k, and 6k with water for you and your dogs. Porta-potties will be at Val Vista, Greenfield and Guadalupe roads. First Aid is at the start / finish line in the park. After you finish, drop by Santa’s Food Court for beverages and snacks.
Please wear your race number on the front of your jersey. Note that numbers can only be worn by the registered participant.
Medals for the 1st through 3rd place finishers in each age category, and a Christmas gift for the fastest Male and fastest Female.. NEW this year, we’ll have an awards table so if you win, you can pick up your medal before you leave.
Gifts from Santa
Santa has wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree for the Most Christmas Spirit (Male and Female), Best Christmas Themed Running Outfit and Best Dressed Pet.
NEW this year, our judges will be roving around the festival looking for prize winners. If they give you a prize token, drop by and pick up your gifts at the RED tent near the permanent restrooms.
Our photographer will be on hand to take photos – Action Media. Be sure to smile for the camera!
All participant entries are non-transferable and there are no refunds. You may not transfer or sell your race number to another person. We do not offer a deferral to next year event or another event in the series. There are no exceptions to this policy unless approved by race organizer.
